Abstract
The present study aims to introduce the principles of  six sigma and the difference of its dimensions in achieving high performance within electric power transmission stations, and the extent to which  State  Electric Power Transmission Company in the northern region adopts the dimensions of the six sigma as one of the approaches to reducing errors.  The study dealt with the theory of the six sigma with its four dimensions : (continuous improvement, processes and systems, feedback, and training) as the independent variable, and high performance in its four dimensions :(quality of management, openness and general orientation, quality of the workforce, long-term commitment) as the dependent variable.  State Electric Power Transmission Company in the northern region combined is selected for the study, In order to find solutions to the problem of the inability to provide electric energy and the consequent aggravating economic and social problems due to the absence of an administrative system that can use the human potential and the ample financial resources and based on the urgent need for this important sector, the problem of the study revolves around the apparent performance weakness  and the failure to use scientific methods in the application of Concepts of raising quality, which was reflected in the poor performance of electric power transmission substations and in order for the results to be objective and reflect the reality of the quality of electrical service and more accurate .
The researcher applied the method of the test sample in selecting the study sample consisting of (106) male and female employees within the advanced cadre of the company staff. The  questionnaire was used to measure the study variables.
       As for the statistical methods used, they are the weighted arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, simple linear correlation coefficient, and simple linear regression coefficient. The   researcher used the statistical program (SPSS) for the purpose of statistical analysis. Based on measuring the study variables, diagnosing them, and testing the correlation and excitement relationships, the researcher reached a set of conclusions, the most significant of which is the existence of a tangible and clear effect of six sigma diffraction theory in achieving high performance. Among the significant recommendations of the current study is to enhance the interest of electric power transmission companies and their affiliated stations in continuous improvement, especially as it plays an important role in achieving high performance  in order to achieve the citizens’ satisfaction with the provided electrical services and demonstrating the significance of improving the performance of the staff,  setting the plans and studies necessary  to achieve this goal and the continuous endeavor to spread the culture of six sigma as an approach to reducing errors and establishing ethics in support of high performance.
