Abstract:
The current study aims to test the interactive role of the ambidextrous leadership in Enhancing the relationship between the cognitive diversity and the group innovative performance , for a sample of Lecturers and their heads of departments at the university of Wasit , cognitive diversity in a one-dimensional manner While leadership Consist of two main dimensions (Opening leadership behaviors & Closing leadership behaviors) , As well as measuring the innovative performance Consist of (idea generation, idea promotion, idea implementation). and the problem of the study was identified in several questions, the most important of which were about The interactive relationship of the variables, in addition to the nature of the relationship between the variables of the study through the main question (Verifying the interactive role of ambidextrous leadership on the relationship between cognitive diversity and the innovative performance of groupwork for Lecturers and their heads at Waist University). Through a hypothetical framwork that shows the nature of the relationship between the current variables, and in order to verify the validity that framwork, several main and sub-hypotheses have been formulated., The researcher relied on the questionnaire as a main tool for collecting the necessary data from the sample (Lectures) to answer the variables of Lectures leadership and cognitive diversity, And a sample (heads of departments) to answer the innovative performance variable for the special group of the sample of Lecturers (the first sample), amounted to (396) individuals And the heads of their departments (50) , data were analyzed using the statistical Software (SPSS v. 25 and AMOS v.23) in order to reach the results related to the study. Depending on the statistical methods (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, the level of response, the Relative importance, Relative importance and multiple Regression). Main conclusions of the study are the presence of the interactive role of the ambidextrous leadership element in Enhancing the relationship between cognitive diversity and innovative performance of the group. The study also made several recommendations to serve the reality of the Research sample.
