The financial inclusion of small and medium enterprises in particular, is one of the main concerns in the challenges facing different countries in diversifying their economies and achieving desirable levels of economic growth, and that providing financing for small and medium enterprises at feasible, safe and sustainable levels requires a comprehensive vision from the macroeconomic aspects to the legal and regulatory aspects, It ends with improving the contribution of these projects to diversifying the economy.
This study attempted to keep pace with the interest in financial inclusion in general and financial inclusion for small and medium enterprises and its role in economic diversification in particular through policies and programs directed to this matter, which is what directed this research to try to answer the questions related to it through scientific hypotheses based on the deductive scientific method and Inductive and descriptive and analytical method of analysis of facts and data with the help of specialized economic literature, by studying the experiences of selected countries to find out the dimensions of this relationship with special reference to Iraq.
The conclusions reached by the research and the proposed recommendations would help policy makers in formulating and implementing reform strategies that are specific to enhancing the financial inclusion of small and medium enterprises to promote economic diversification, through the analytical contribution of the researched relationship, and by building on lessons learned from international experiences.
