The research aims to know the level of quality of financial reports in light of the integration between financial reporting standards and sustainability standards on the one hand and the cultural dimensions and accounting values prevailing in commercial banks listed in the Iraqi financial market by analyzing the financial reports of a sample of banks listed in the Iraqi financial market, which are represented by (12) banks to measure the level of their commitment to accounting standards in accordance with (IFRS 1) and sustainability standards according to the indicators of the (FN) standard -CB) and its reflection in the quality of its financial reports. As well as analyzing the views of stakeholders and beneficiaries of the reports of commercial banks listed in the Iraqi financial market and analyzing the data collected through a questionnaire prepared for this purpose and the court from a number of specialists to find out the prevailing cultural values of financial report preparers and their relationship to the accounting values of the banks’ accounting system, As well as knowing the impact of cultural dimensions and accounting values on the quality of financial reports, while statistical tools were used to prove correlation and influence relationships within the work environment of the (SPSS-25) program.
There has been a significant difference in the quality of the financial reports of the commercial banks listed in the Iraqi financial market. and that this difference in the quality of the financial reports of commercial banks, the sample of the research, reflects the nature of fluctuations in the Iraqi financial market and the weak commitment of companies to international financial reporting standards, especially the financial statement presentation standard (IFRS1) and the sustainability standards of commercial banks according to the indicators of the (FN-CB) standard. The quality of its reports and the information contained therein, which can be used in decision-making by its beneficiaries on the basis of information that may not faithfully represent economic activities. As well as competition between them to increase market shares, which reflects the banking and investment activities of banks and affects the quality of their financial reports. The impact of cultural dimensions in the process of financial and sustainable reporting is also evident in the influence of other factors, which may be directed factors to influence the type of decision taken, based on a directed environment within the business framework, that helps in the formation of preconceived trends as a result of the prevailing societal culture, or in which the characteristics are formed personality of the decision maker.
