Shadow banking and its role in promoting the use of financial products An analytical study in the Iraqi environment for the period (2017-2021)

The study aims to identify the scientific implications of each of shadow banking and financial products and the relationship of these concepts with each other, as well as assess the impact of shadow banking in promoting the use of financial products through mediation operations carried out by institutions in whole or in part, and then analyze and describe shadow banking and products financial products for the study sample, and then measuring the impact of shadow banking on the dimensions of financial products, as the problem of the study was the extent to which shadow banking contributes to promoting the use of financial products and how shadow banking significantly affects the use of financial products, and for that a sample consisting of (15) Iraqi governorates was selected (Anbar, Basra, Qadisiyah, Muthanna, Najaf, Babil, Baghdad, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Salah al-Din, Karbala, Kirkuk, Maysan, Nineveh, Wasit), for the period from 1/4/2017-31/12/2021 and then a procedure Financial analysis by calculating the rates of change for each of the independent variable and the dependent variable and analyzing the reasons for their increase or decrease during the study period, and then using the statistical program SPSS v.22 to test the hypotheses according to the correlation matrix (simple correlation coefficients), and accordingly the study concluded a number of conclusions The most important of which is that shadow banking contributes to increasing dealing with financial products, especially bank payment cards.
