The Collage of Administration and Economics – Department of Statistics at Karbala university organized a training course on the generation of random variables and probability distributions using the MATLAB program, in which Ass. Prof .Dr. Enas Abdel Hafez, Prof.Dr. Shorouk abdelreda and Ass. Prof.Dr. Sada Fayadh Mohammed.

The workshop, which was held under the slogan (generating random variables and probability distributions using the MATLAB program), aimed to develop the researcher’s skills and benefit from the information.

The course included: giving the reader the tools he needs to generate random variables, which often arise in practice, and providing some useful distributions .

The target group was graduate students.
