Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabar Al-Husseini, the College of Administration and Economics / Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a university morning event titled “Zahra (PBUH) Our Role Model.”
The event featured Dr. Sada Fayadh and Dr. Samana Aziz, who discussed with the female students the main challenges they face in their academic lives, as well as the importance of commitment to themselves and their families. Dr. Sada also addressed issues that may require students to discuss with the Psychological Counseling Unit, particularly sensitive matters.
Both speakers emphasized the significance of following Lady Zahra (PBUH) as a model of chastity, commitment, and modesty at all times. Furthermore, Dr. Samana stressed the importance of adhering to ethical values, coping with academic and social pressures, and relying on virtuous role models such as Lady Zahra (PBUH).
At the end of the event, a discussion session was held with the students, where they shared their views on the challenges they face. They expressed their appreciation for such meetings that promote awareness and self-confidence. The organizers also expressed their gratitude to the Dean for his continuous support of initiatives that contribute to building the students’ character and enhancing the role of women within and outside the academic community.
