Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, the college organized a specialized scientific symposium with the participation of a distinguished group of professors and experts. This event was held as part of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week.

The symposium took place on February 3-4, 2025, as part of the direct implementation of the memorandums of understanding and agreements signed between the University of Karbala and Ferdowsi University of Iran. The objective was to enhance scientific and academic cooperation between the two institutions.
