Professor Dr. Asaad Mohammed Ali Wahab Al-Awad, a faculty member in the Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, has been selected as a reviewer for the QS World University Rankings, one of the most prestigious global rankings that assess universities based on internationally recognized academic and research standards.
The QS Rankings, published annually by the British organization Quacquarelli Symonds, are among the most prominent university rankings worldwide. They are based on several criteria, including the quality of education, scientific research, graduate employability, international openness, and expert opinions from various countries.
Professor Dr. Asaad Al-Awad’s participation reflects the academic and scientific standing of the University of Karbala and strengthens its presence in global rankings. It also highlights the high level of confidence that QS places in Iraqi academic expertise.
