As part of its efforts to strengthen communication with students and provide a suitable living environment, a delegation from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala conducted an inspection visit to the Department of Dormitory Affairs. The purpose of the visit was to assess the conditions of resident students, listen to their needs and requirements, and work towards overcoming the challenges they face.
The delegation included several faculty members and administrative staff from the college. They were received by the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs along with several officials and supervisors responsible for university housing. During the visit, the delegation toured the dormitory facilities, including rooms, halls, kitchens, and other service areas, to evaluate the quality of services provided to students and ensure the availability of essential amenities for their comfort.
Additionally, the delegation held a meeting with a number of resident students to hear their opinions and feedback regarding the services offered. They discussed the main challenges faced by students, whether related to infrastructure or daily needs. The delegation members reaffirmed the College of Administration and Economics’ commitment to supporting students and providing everything necessary to improve their academic and living conditions.
For his part, the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs praised this initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between different colleges and university administrations to ensure a suitable academic environment for students. He also expressed his gratitude to the visiting delegation for their concern and willingness to provide assistance.
At the end of the visit, the delegation pledged to convey all observations and suggestions raised during the meeting to the relevant authorities within the university and to work on finding appropriate solutions to meet students’ needs. This commitment aligns with the academic and social responsibility that the College of Administration and Economics upholds towards its students.
