In a humanitarian initiative reflecting the spirit of social solidarity and community responsibility, a delegation from the College of Administration and Economics – Business Administration Department visited the Elderly Care Home in Holy Karbala. The visit was conducted under the supervision and leadership of the esteemed Professor Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, with the participation of several faculty members and students.
The visit aimed to provide financial, moral, and medical support to the residents of the home. The delegation distributed financial aid to the elderly, offered medical care by examining certain health cases, and provided necessary medications and medical consultations. Additionally, the visit included recreational and social activities that brought joy to the elderly, fostering friendly conversations and listening to their needs and concerns.
In his speech during the visit, Professor Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi emphasized the importance of supporting vulnerable groups in society. He stated that this visit is part of the college’s efforts to promote social responsibility and instill the values of generosity and compassion. He also expressed his gratitude to the administration of the elderly care home for their dedicated efforts in caring for the elderly, affirming the continuation of such initiatives in the future.
