The College of Administration and Economics Organizes a Maintenance and Renovation Campaign for the Backyard of the Accounting Department

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, and with the follow-up of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah, the college organized a maintenance and renovation campaign for the backyard of the Accounting Department building. This initiative aligns with the college’s efforts to create a sustainable university environment and enhance green spaces within the campus.

The campaign included cleaning the garden, removing waste, rehabilitating green areas, planting new trees and plants, and maintaining the irrigation system to ensure the sustainability of the vegetation. Additionally, pathways were renovated, and seating areas were arranged to provide a comfortable environment for students and staff.

In a statement, the Dean emphasized that this campaign is part of the college’s development plan aimed at improving campus facilities and enhancing the beauty of the educational environment, ultimately creating a more suitable atmosphere for students and employees. He also praised the efforts of the engineering unit and campus services in executing the campaign, appreciating the collaboration of all personnel involved in the project.

For his part, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah, stated that the college remains committed to implementing improvement and development projects. He also encouraged faculty members and students to preserve the green spaces and utilize them in ways that benefit the university environment.

This campaign is part of a series of initiatives adopted by the college to enhance infrastructure and service facilities, fostering an ideal academic environment that aligns with modern educational standards.
