Under the generous patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, and with direct supervision from the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Hussein Ali Abdullah, the college launched a major tree-planting campaign in conjunction with National Afforestation Day. The initiative aims to raise environmental awareness and expand green spaces within the university campus.
The campaign saw wide participation from faculty members, staff, and students, who actively planted various trees throughout the college premises. This effort reflects the university’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental improvement. Special attention was given to planting tree species suited to the climatic conditions of Karbala to ensure their sustainability and to create a cleaner and healthier environment for students and the academic community.
