The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a training course titled “Financial and Banking Marketing”, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Houraa Thamer Mahdi, from December 7 to 9, 2025, with the participation of undergraduate students.
The course aimed to enhance students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in financial and banking marketing, introduce key marketing concepts and strategies applied in financial institutions and banks, and demonstrate their role in improving service quality and strengthening the competitive capacity of banks.
The course covered several topics, including the concept of financial marketing, banking marketing tools, customer behavior in banking, and challenges facing the banking sector amid technological advancements and digital transformation. Practical examples and case studies were provided to link theory with real-world applications.
The participants actively engaged in discussions, emphasizing the importance of such courses in developing their scientific and professional skills and preparing them for the labor market. The college affirmed its commitment to continue organizing training programs and scientific activities that support the educational process and enhance students’ academic level.
