Abstracts

Purpose: The thesis aims to study the nature of the effect between leadership skills to manage paradox through its dimensions (cognitive complexity, trust, conflict management, and communication) as an independent variable, and strategic ambidexterity . through its dimensions (investment strategy and exploratory strategy) as a dependent variable. In the study community in the telecommunications company.

Design/Methodology: The choice for the purpose of implementing the analytical aspect of the mission fell to organizations experiencing paradox tensions; These are the mobile telecommunications companies in Iraq; In order to test the extent to which organizations succeed in employing conflict management leadership skills when dealing with organizational paradox. Depending on the questionnaire form, the study population of (115) managers was chosen, and the questionnaire was distributed to managers of telecommunications companies, and the number of valid questionnaires for analysis was (79) questionnaires, with a response rate of (88%). It was analyzed by the two statistical programs AMOS v20, SPSS v20

Theoretical results: Theoretical results and survey studies have proven that there is a knowledge gap in adopting leadership skills to manage paradox and to achieve positive results for accepting and resolving paradox to reach strategic ambidexterity..

Practical results: testing hypotheses and interpreting the nature of the relationship and the effect between the study variables, leadership skills for managing paradox, strategic ambidexterity.in the telecommunications company, and accepting and resolving the paradox between the company’s leaders.

The study reached a number of conclusions, the most prominent of which were; The leaders of the surveyed companies have the skills of managing paradox that have a significant impact on strategic savvy; And it has a significant correlation with it; Accordingly, the study concluded with a number of recommendations and proposals that are considered as other future studies.
