The impact of technological capabilities in promoting continuous improvement activities for the organization

Abstract

      The study aimed to determine the role of technological capabilities in promoting continuous improvement activities in the Al-Noura factory in the Holy Karbala, and the importance of the study was represented in providing a theoretical framework that links two important variables are technological capabilities represented in its dimensions (knowledge of technology, strategic capacity in technology, personal technologies, inter-organizational relations, supplier relations, infrastructure) refering to, and continuous improvement, represented by its dimensions (understanding CI, Getting the CI habit, focusing CI, Aligning CI, continuous improvement of continuous improvement , the learning organisation) refering to  , the research applied to a sample An intentional comprising 155 people (engineers and technicians) and the questionnaire was used as a main tool for data collection and measurement of variables. The answers were analyzed to reach the final results of the research through the use of a set of statistical methods (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, relative importance, coefficient of determination, and coefficient of determination). Correlation (spearman), Z-TEST test, F-TEST), through the use of the SPSS program.     Based on measuring and diagnosing the research variables and testing the correlation and influence relationship, the statistical methods produced a number of results, perhaps the most prominent of which are: The validity of a hypothesis (there is a correlation and influence relationship for technology capabilities in continuous improvement activities in the organization) for Al-Noura lab, and a set of recommendations were reached, the most important of which are: the necessity of work To provide and enhance the efforts of engineers and technicians by investing the positive relationship between improvement, which contributes to their possession of sufficient knowledge of modern technology and also achieves an important characteristic for them, which is the ability to adapt to modern technological changes.
