Abstract
This research aims at identifying the role that microfinance plays in the development of local communities In order to achieve the objectives of the study and to reveal the nature of the relationship between microfinance and community development, the following has been developed:
Microfinance plays a major role in community development and addressing the problem of unemployment If given sufficient attention by governments and directed to the poor social segments and able to initiate small production projects that accommodate the surplus labor Official reports and Internet networks were adopted as a major data collection tool and a group was used Of statistical means as simple and multiple correlation coefficients to measure the correlation relationship between the simple correlation relationship variables and the simple regression analysis and test (f) To determine the significance of the regression equation was also used (R2) to explain the effects of the independent variable in the dependent variable and the researcher reached a set of conclusions, including:
1. Microfinance programs have proven their ability to achieve social and economic objectives by providing services to the poor and addressing the problem of unemployment.
2-Most of the beneficiaries of microfinance are young males who are considered the most productive age category because the inherited customs and traditions affect the work of women and limit their movements in addition to the inferiority of the woman who is a weak creature does not have the ability to innovate and production
The recommendations that emerged from the research are :
1. Governments and monetary authorities should facilitate procedures for obtaining microfinance and reducing the required guarantees.
