Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Participates in the Committee Meeting on State Employee Development at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers

Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim abbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, participated in the meeting of the State Employee Development Committee, held at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. The meeting was chaired by the esteemed Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Zahid.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance the State Employee Qualification Program, which aims to award a professional diploma in Quality Management and Strategic Planning. This initiative seeks to improve the efficiency of employees across various government departments.

During the meeting, the Undersecretary emphasized the program’s success and its significant role in enhancing administrative performance. He stressed the need to expand its scope to include additional specializations within colleges of administration and economics.

Furthermore, the committee approved new mechanisms for developing the program by introducing specialized professional studies that align with the needs of governmental institutions. These efforts aim to achieve sustainable administrative development and enhance employee skills in accordance with the latest academic and professional standards.

It is noteworthy that this program is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s ongoing efforts to support and develop human resources in the public sector, ensuring their competencies align with the requirements of administrative reform and institutional modernization in the state.
