Abstract :
The study aim to Interpret and Analyses the investors Sentiments for Use it in Securities Future Prices Predictions; throughout achieving an additional return by dealing with historical Data, for All sectors in the Iraqi Stock Exchange represented by Indicators like Trading Volume indicator, the number of trade Stocks indicator and Contracts number Indicator, and study its impact on return level. Because of the psychological studies supports findings that mode of investors affected by more factors like Weather and Events etc. , that led to effects on investors Decisions in Iraqi Stock Exchange, the study use starts from the arguments between the followers of the traditional financial theory and followers of Behavioral finance.
The study problem starts from the investor do not take into considerations the effect of sentiment on investors Decisions in Iraqi Stock Exchange and at the same time the study tries to focus on the evidences of Behavioral finance approach thoughts in order to predict the market trends.
The study analysis the historical data of Iraqi market sectors which was seven sectors throughout the apply seasonal and monthly data of listed companies in the Iraqi Stock Exchange and Process the data by using different analytical statistical tests by SPSS and MS-Excel software.
The study finds that the investor sentiment effected on Securities return and it’s obviously in seasonal Data in comparing with the monthly data, in situation of sectors the services sector was most affected, and the study recommended that investors must avoid trading in time which market movement effect investor modes like social or seasonal with stay attentive to prevent losses.
