Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to know the impact of the smart organization as an independent variable with its dimensions (adaptation, sustainability,
formation and understanding of the environment, and ambidexterity) in the outstanding strategic performance as a dependent variable with its dimensions (operational performance, competitive performance, and financial performance) through the strategic Niche as an intermediate
variable with its dimensions (expression and formation of expectations, Building social networks, and learning processes). In view of the importance of the telecommunications sector and its impact on the
country’s economy, the study was conducted in (3) mobile telecommunications companies in Iraq (Zain Iraq, Korek, and Asasil).
The opinions of a sample consisting of (242) individuals working in the researched companies were surveyed (members of the Board of Directors) Commissioner Director, Deputy Director, directors of departments and divisions, and directors of branches and centers) through the questionnaire as a main tool in collecting study data and information, as well as some personal interviews. A group of statistical methods (descriptive statistics, regression, correlation, trajectory analysis, exploratory factor analysis) were used to analyze the information and test hypotheses by adopting two complementary approaches (the descriptive and analytical approach), and these methods were used by statistical programs (SPSS V). 23. The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are (there is a significant impact relationship with moral for the smart organization and the strategic Niche in the outstanding strategic
performance). The study also concluded with a set of recommendations, the most prominent of which is (the researched companies should pay attention to the model of the smart organization and make it a main
source for building a distinctive Niche for them, and to be a vital and artery part for expressing values, ideas, trends and principles in order to achieve outstanding strategic performance. In addition to that interest in developing their vision. The future, by adopting the opinions and proposals of employees and customers, and by encouraging them to express their positive and negative expectations in a transparent manner, as well as by simplifying formal routine procedures, and bypassing the organizational structure rings).
