Abstract

This study aimed to determine the interactive (modifying) role of spiritual leadership in the relationship between the (Husseini) culture values and the behavior of volunteer work, based on the problem of the Iraqi organizations’ lack of interest in the behavior of volunteering, as it was diagnosed with a main question represented by (Is there an interactive role (modifier) for spiritual leadership in The relationship between the values of (Husseini) culture and the behavior of voluntary work)?. the study adopted a model (fry: 2005) to measure spiritual leadership, which consisted of five dimensions (vision, hope/faith, altruistic love, meaning/communication, membership/belonging). The scale was built by the researcher as it included seven dimensions (tolerance, dialogue, reform, social integration, respect for others, ritual and ritual practice, sacrifice for the sake of principles) to measure Husseini culture value . The scholar adopted a model (Spector & Suzy: 2002) to measure volunteer work behavior, which included organizational citizenship behavior on two levels (first: organizational citizenship behavior at the organizational level, second: organizational citizenship behavior at the individual level) and reverse work behavior at two levels (first: organizational reverse work behavior, second: work behavior interpersonal reverse) The analytical, descriptive and exploratory approach was adopted in presenting, analyzing and interpreting the study data, and the questionnaire was used as a main tool in collecting data , as well as some personal interviews with members of the exploratory sample. (361) questionnaires were distributed to members of the Ali al-Akbar Brigade, one of the formations of the Popular Mobilization Authority. For the purpose of statistical analysis, the study relied on exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis as basic structural tests for the validity of the approved standards, with a set of descriptive statistical measures, Pearson correlation coefficient, and structural equation modeling to measure influence relationships, as well as the modified analysis. The study reached several conclusions, including the interest of the leadership of the Ali al-Akbar Brigade and the Popular Mobilization Authority in applying the concepts of spiritual leadership, and that in the event of an increase in the rates of interest in spiritual leadership and the implementation of its spiritual mechanisms at the field level, it modifies the relationship between the values of (Husseini) culture and the behavior of positive volunteer work with Possibility to reduce counterfactual behavior. The study resulted in a set of recommendations, the most important: the necessity of the leaders in the Ali al-Akbar brigade to follow the approach of the “supreme guide” in Najaf and to follow because the “supreme guide” possesses great knowledge of Husseini values and their embodiment of ideals, which made them more spiritual in society in general Because of clear experience through what “supreme guide” issued with  “fatwa” for adequate defense, as this was manifested in a broad response.
