This study sought to identify the role of knowledge management systems in the success of the design of production processes, and relied on the descriptive and analytical approach.  It says: Do knowledge management systems have a role in the success of the design of production processes? The importance of building a knowledge framework for the main research variables (knowledge management systems, and production process design) and their sub-dimensions, and the research adopted it on two main hypotheses The first assumes (Is there a correlation between knowledge management systems?  And the design of production processes) and the other (Is there an impact relationship for knowledge management systems in the design of production processes), and the General Company for Rubber and Tire Industries in Diwaniyah was chosen as a community to implement the study. The study sample consisted of (65) individuals, and the questionnaire was used as a main tool for data collection,  Analyzed by SPSS and an appropriate set of descriptive statistics measures (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, intensity of  Fake, the simple correlation coefficient, the multiple linear correlation coefficient, the simple regression coefficient, the multiple linear regression coefficient) and the study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the statistical results that prove that knowledge management systems are linked at the macro and dimensional levels with a positive and strong relationship with the design of production processes.  The research concluded with a number of recommendations, most notably the researcher recommends adopting the dimensions of knowledge management systems in order to enhance the design of production processes through the use of advanced programs
