Abstract
The current research aims to demonstrate the effect of psychological well-being in reducing bullying behavior in the workplace within the research community, which is represented by private universities and colleges in the holy city of Karbala from teachers, and in order to achieve this, a hypothetical scheme was designed that shows the relationship between the research variables, if the independent variable was measured Psychological well-being in six sub-dimensions (independence – self-acceptance – positive relationship with others – goal in life – mastery of the environment – personal development), while the dependent variable bullying in the workplace was measured in five sub-dimensions (undermining – undermining work – criticism – Loud screaming – verbal abuse) based on the main research problem, which was represented by (psychological well-being and its impact on reducing bullying behavior in the workplace). ) prepared for this purpose and using the analytical descriptive approach. The research relied on a set of statistical methods represented by confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistics, simple correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling based on ready-made programs (SPSS V.23; AMOS, V.23; Excel 16) The research has reached a set of conclusions, most notably the existence of a significant effect between psychological well-being and bullying in the workplace, and this indicates the need to pay great attention to the educational service organizations under study to enhance the psychological well-being of university teachers to reduce negative behaviors at work, especially bullying and the need for cooperation With private and government universities who have a successful experience in practicing reducing negative behaviors to create a positive work environment and achieve psychological well-being
