College of Administration and Economics Inaugurates the Dean’s Prayer Hall in the Presence of the Dean, Faculty, and Students

In a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with faith, the College of Administration and Economics inaugurated the Dean’s Prayer Hall after its full construction and furnishing. The event was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, and was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and a large number of students.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Abdul-Hussein Jasim Al-Asadi, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, alongside department heads, faculty members, and staff. During his speech, Dr. Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of the prayer hall as a dedicated space for performing religious rituals and providing a spiritual environment that helps students and employees balance their academic and professional responsibilities with their religious obligations.

The Dean highlighted that establishing the prayer hall aligns with the college’s efforts to create a comprehensive university environment that meets both the academic and spiritual needs of its members. He reaffirmed the college’s commitment to implementing similar service projects that enhance the well-being of students and staff.

For his part, Professor Dr. Abdul-Hussein Jasim Al-Asadi expressed his happiness with the inauguration of the prayer hall, stating that this initiative reflects the college’s dedication to providing diverse facilities that serve the university community. The ceremony included the first congregational prayer in the newly opened hall, attended by the Dean, Associate Dean, faculty members, and students, creating an atmosphere of reverence and spirituality.
