A team from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala participated in the proceedings of the Second Scientific Conference organized by the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Al-Muthanna, under the title:
“Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Business: Between Technology and Innovation”, as part of the scientific collaboration between Iraqi universities and the enhancement of academic interaction on contemporary issues.
The University of Karbala was represented in this scientific event by a group of its distinguished faculty members:
- Lecturer Dr. Ayoub Jasim Mohammed
- Assistant Lecturer Safaa Abdul Ali Abdul Amir
- Assistant Lecturer Ihab Ziad Mohammed
This participation aimed to provide academic and research insights on the developments of artificial intelligence and its growing role in shaping the business environment. It also highlighted the complementary relationship between technology and innovation in achieving sustainable development across various economic sectors.
During the conference, a series of solid scientific papers were discussed, covering artificial intelligence applications in fields such as management, marketing, financial analysis, and decision-making, among other vital areas, with broad academic attendance from various Iraqi universities.
Participants praised the leading role played by the University of Karbala in supporting scientific research and keeping pace with modern digital transformations. They emphasized the importance of strengthening research collaboration between academic institutions to face future challenges and build a knowledge-based economy relying on innovation and advanced technology.
This participation is part of the College of Administration and Economics’ vision to solidify its academic position and expand the horizons of collaboration with other Iraqi colleges in advanced research and knowledge fields.
