Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, the respected Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, participated in the periodic meeting of the deans of Colleges of Administration and Economics from Iraqi universities, hosted by the University of Anbar. The meeting was attended by deans from various Iraqi universities.
This gathering comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic cooperation among colleges of administration and economics across Iraq, and to exchange expertise and insights on ways to develop curricula and enhance the quality of higher education in line with modern labor market demands.
Participants discussed several key academic and administrative topics, most notably the modernization of academic programs, support for scientific research, the promotion of collaboration with both public and private sectors, and addressing the challenges facing higher education amidst economic and technological changes.
In his remarks during the meeting, Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of joint efforts and the exchange of experiences among colleges. He highlighted the need to adopt modern curricula that align with global developments and meet the requirements of sustainable development in Iraq.
Attendees commended the University of Anbar for organizing and hosting the meeting and praised the efforts made to ensure the success of this important academic gathering, which is expected to contribute significantly to advancing the academic and administrative standards of Colleges of Administration and Economics throughout Iraq.
