The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala conducted a wide-ranging cleaning campaign covering the buildings of the academic departments, classrooms, and outdoor areas, as part of the preparations for the new academic year.

The campaign was carried out under the guidance and supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College, with the participation of faculty members, staff, as well as service and administrative personnel.

The campaign aimed to create a clean and safe university environment suitable for the college students and conducive to effective learning. Activities included cleaning classrooms, laboratories, and administrative offices, removing waste from outdoor areas and walkways, and disinfecting and sanitizing buildings to ensure public safety and health.

During the campaign, the Dean emphasized that such initiatives are part of the college’s annual plan, which seeks to enhance environmental awareness and foster a spirit of cooperation and teamwork among college members, positively impacting the educational and research process.

He also called on students to maintain the cleanliness of the college and its facilities, noting that cleanliness is a core part of university culture and a fundamental element in achieving a comprehensive academic environment.
