Professor Kamal Kazem Jawad, Head of the Department of Finance and Banking at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, held an extensive meeting with postgraduate students of the department, as part of his commitment to following up on their academic and research progress and addressing the challenges they may encounter along their scholarly journey.

During the meeting, the Head of the Department reviewed the key regulations and guidelines related to the educational and research process for master’s and doctoral students. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the research timeline, completing study requirements within the designated deadlines, and upholding academic standards and research ethics.

Professor Jawad also listened to the students’ comments and suggestions regarding the study environment and their academic needs, expressing his readiness to provide the necessary support in coordination with the college administration and specialized academic committees, in order to ensure a conducive atmosphere for advancing their scientific and research performance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, he stressed that postgraduate students represent a cornerstone in supplying society with advanced scientific expertise, pointing out that the department continues to implement its plans to develop academic and research programs in line with labor market requirements and international standards.
