Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, the Student Activities Division organized a special meeting to conduct the draw for the Scientific Departments’ Football Championship. This event comes as part of the college’s annual plan aimed at promoting sports activities among students and fostering a spirit of fair competition.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Student Activities Division and representatives of the participating teams from various departments. During the meeting, the championship system, competition format, and match schedule were explained, in addition to discussing the organizational and technical guidelines that ensure the tournament’s success and the achievement of its objectives.

The Student Activities Division emphasized that holding this championship aligns with the college’s commitment to supporting extracurricular activities and encouraging students to engage in sports, given their role in building well-rounded personalities and enhancing teamwork and discipline skills.

At the end of the meeting, the draw was conducted among the participating teams, and the dates of the opening matches were determined amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and strong sportsmanship, in preparation for the start of the competitions in the coming days.
