The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala held its eighth council meeting, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, and attended by the assistant deans, heads and rapporteurs of the academic departments, and the faculty representative.
The Dean opened the session by welcoming the attendees and appreciating their efforts in accomplishing academic and administrative tasks. He emphasized the importance of continuing to improve performance and enhance the quality of education in alignment with the university’s vision and mission.
The council discussed several topics on the agenda, including the progress of the current semester’s academic process, evaluation of faculty performance, and the plans of the academic departments to update curricula. The meeting also reviewed matters related to postgraduate studies, scientific research, and encouraging publication in reputable international journals.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean stressed the importance of adhering to the university’s academic timelines and implementing the recommendations issued by the university presidency, calling for strengthening cooperation among all college members to achieve the college’s academic and administrative goals.
