The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Sabah Wajid Ali, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Kashan in Iran, represented by its President, Dr. Bazar Soltani, as part of the university’s efforts to enhance academic and research cooperation with regional and international universities.
The MoU aims to develop joint cooperation in the fields of scientific research, exchange of academic experiences, joint supervision of theses and theses, as well as the exchange of students and professors, and the holding of joint scientific conferences and workshops.
Dr. Sabah Wajid stated that this agreement comes within the university’s vision to open up to prestigious academic institutions, pointing out that the exchange of experiences and knowledge between universities contributes to the development of the research and educational environment, and enables the improvement of the quality of university performance in line with global scientific developments.
Dr. Wajid added that the University of Karbala is constantly seeking to build strategic partnerships with distinguished universities, in order to open new horizons for students and researchers, and to enhance the university’s position at the regional and international levels.
For his part, the President of the University of Kashan, Dr. Bazar Soltani, expressed his pride in signing this MoU, stressing his university’s desire to expand the fields of scientific cooperation with the University of Karbala, in order to achieve the common goals of both parties in supporting scientific research and serving the community.
