College of Administration and Economics – University of KarbalaThe Student Activities Unit Participates in the Technical Meeting of the University President’s Championship

The Student Activities Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, headed by the Unit Supervisor, Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Sabeeh Lafta, participated in the technical meeting for the University President’s Championship. The tournament is organized by the university for two categories: faculty and staff, and students.

During the meeting, the final preparations for launching the championship’s activities were reviewed. The discussion covered technical and organizational regulations, team distribution, approval of the match schedule, as well as the rules related to refereeing, field preparation, and the sports equipment required for the success of the tournament.

The meeting also addressed coordination mechanisms among the colleges to ensure wide participation, promote a spirit of sportsmanship, and provide a safe and smooth environment for holding matches, in accordance with the university presidency’s directives to support extracurricular activities and develop student talents.

Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Sabeeh Lafta emphasized the College of Administration and Economics’ commitment to active participation in various sports activities organized by the university. He noted that such championships represent an important opportunity to enhance students’ skills, develop teamwork and belonging, and strengthen positive relations among students, faculty members, and staff.

The participation of the Student Activities Unit comes as part of the college’s interest in supporting university sports, promoting the culture of fair competition, and providing an integrated university environment that combines academic aspects with sports and cultural activities
