The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Karbala organized a specialized training course entitled “Be Part of Change: Your Role in Promoting a Culture of Integrity, Transparency and Accountability”, for the period from 5 to 7 November 2025, with the participation of a group of undergraduate students.

The course aims to promote the values of integrity, the principles of transparency and accountability among students, and to develop their awareness of the importance of the role they can play in building a university and community environment based on trust and responsibility, and to consolidate positive behaviors that contribute to reducing the manifestations of corruption and promoting a culture of honest work.

The lectures were presented by a group of faculty members, namely:

The course included practical and interactive topics on the concept of integrity and transparency, and accountability mechanisms, in addition to discussing real-world cases and practical applications aimed at engaging students in creating positive change within their institutions and society.

At the end of the course, the participants praised the importance of the topic and the depth of the presentation, stressing that such courses enhance students’ knowledge and support the building of a conscious generation capable of contributing to the development of society.
