College of Administration and Economics Implements a Voluntary Campaign to Meet the Needs of Residents of the Elderly Care Home in Karbala

As part of its social responsibility and commitment to promoting a culture of volunteer work, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, under the supervision of the Student Activities Division, organized a humanitarian campaign aimed at meeting the needs of residents of the Elderly Care Home in Karbala Governorate, following direct coordination with the home’s administration.

The campaign was launched with the participation of a select group of faculty members and a number of volunteers. It included providing a range of essential needs for the elderly, in addition to organizing humanitarian and recreational activities that helped bring joy to their hearts and strengthen human connection with them.

Those in charge of the campaign affirmed that this initiative aligns with the university’s ongoing approach to serving the community and promoting the values of social solidarity, emphasizing the importance of supporting and caring for the elderly due to their high humanitarian value.

The administration of the Elderly Care Home also praised the initiative of the College of Administration and Economics, expressing its gratitude for the efforts of the faculty members and volunteers, and for the spirit of cooperation that reflects values of giving and responsibility.

The College of Administration and Economics continues to implement such voluntary campaigns that enhance community cohesion and instill humanitarian values among both students and faculty members alike.
