Dean of the College of Administration and Economics Participates in the Second International Conference on the Martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr (Quddis)

Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala, participated in the Second International Conference on the Martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr (Quddis).
The event was organized by the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala in cooperation with the Sayyid Baqir Al-Sadr Foundation for Islamic Studies and Research, and was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in the Grand Hall of the university presidency.

The conference was held under the theme:
“The Integrated Islamic System for Building and Reforming Society According to the Contemporary Perspective – Solutions and Approaches.”

The conference carried the slogan:
“The Intellectual and Jihadist Approach of the Martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr (Quddis).”

The conference activities focused on discussing the intellectual and reformative visions of the martyr Al-Sadr, highlighting his comprehensive Islamic project and its role in shaping the modern society. The event also included the presentation of several scientific research papers by academic scholars from inside and outside Iraq.

During his participation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the thought of the martyr Al-Sadr to enhance the educational and research system in Iraqi universities and strengthen the spirit of intellectual and scholarly renewal. He noted that such conferences provide an important platform for scientific dialogue and the exchange of perspectives among academics.

The scientific sessions of the conference included research studies and analytical discussions addressing the challenges of building and reforming society according to a contemporary Islamic framework, reflecting the deep intellectual legacy of the martyr Al-Sadr and his influential role in modern Islamic thought.

At the conclusion of the conference, the organizers expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the participants, affirming their commitment to continuing such academic events that contribute to enriching intellectual and scholarly identity in the academic community.
