The Accounting Department at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala, organized a field-based scientific visit to Karbala Refinery. The purpose of the visit was to enhance students’ practical skills by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world application in the oil sector.
The students were accompanied by several faculty members, including:
- Assistant Lecturer Mortadha Hassan Al-Ghanimi
- Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Naama
- Lecturer Dr. Firqad Mohammed Bakr
- Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Abdul-Hussein Sadiq
During the visit, students were introduced to the operational and administrative processes within the refinery. They gained valuable insights into how accounting systems are applied in oil sector institutions, providing them with a deeper understanding of the practical challenges facing this vital industry.
This visit is part of a series of academic activities organized by the Accounting Department, aimed at preparing qualified graduates equipped with both academic knowledge and practical skills required in the job market.
