President of the University of Karbala Opens the Private Sector Exhibition at the College of Administration and Economics

The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, inaugurated the Private Sector Exhibition organized by the College of Administration and Economics, in the presence of Dean of the College, Assistant Prof. Dr. Hashim Jabbar Al-Husseini, several assistant deans, heads of academic departments, faculty members, students, as well as representatives from participating local companies and institutions.

The exhibition was organized to strengthen partnerships between the university and the private sector, highlighting the role of higher education in supporting economic development by providing an interactive environment that connects academic knowledge with the labor market.

During his tour of the exhibition halls, the University President reviewed the key products and services showcased by the participating companies, praising the efforts of the organizers and emphasizing the University of Karbala’s commitment to fostering collaboration with private sector institutions, ensuring the integration of academic knowledge with practical application.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the College noted that this activity is part of a series of events aimed at developing students’ skills and familiarizing them with labor market requirements, praising the students’ engagement and enthusiasm for participating in initiatives that cultivate creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

At the conclusion of the exhibition, participants expressed their gratitude to the University of Karbala and the College of Administration and Economics for their continuous support and encouragement of activities that serve the community and strengthen cooperation with various economic sectors.
