A research team from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Karbala was able to achieve a new scientific achievement by publishing their research in the International Journal of Construction Supply Chain Management, which is classified within the Scopus repository and in the second quarter of Q2 of its classifications.

The research was entitled:
“The Role of Human Resources Capabilities as a Mediating Factor between Strategic Leadership and Crisis Management”
, as it underwent precise scientific judging stages, before being accepted for publication in the journal’s issue for the year 2025.

The publication of this research comes within the framework of the continuous efforts made by the College of Business and Economics to enhance the scientific research environment and encourage faculty and researchers to publish in prestigious international journals. This achievement also contributes to supporting the position of the University of Karbala among the international academic rankings, and raises the level of scientific contribution of researchers in addressing contemporary administrative and organizational issues.

The College affirms its continued support for the research process and providing an appropriate environment for innovation and knowledge production, in a way that enhances the university’s position locally and internationally.
