On 24/11/2025, the Faculty of Administration and Economics – University of Karbala / Cultural Activities Unit participated in the opening of the book fair for the writings of the two Sadrine martyrs, which was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Hassan Jamil Al-Fatlawi, and in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Hashem Jabbar Al-Husseini.
The organization of this exhibition comes as a reminder of the scientific and intellectual career of the two Sadrist martyrs and in commemoration of their knowledge giving, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to adopt a number of their works (may their soul be sanctified) within the curricula of postgraduate and primary studies, because they represent a reformist intellectual value and a leading role in the renewal of Islamic thought and its connection to human and societal issues.
The Dean of the Faculty of Science toured the pavilions of the exhibition, which included intellectual, jurisprudential and philosophical works of the two Sadr martyrs, appreciating the cultural cooperation between the faculties of the University of Karbala, especially the College of Administration and Economics, in organizing events that strengthen the university’s connection with the scientific and intellectual heritage of the nation’s symbols.
In his speech, he said:
“To whom He has paved the way of guidance after ignorance has engulfed the hearts of the servants… It is enough that you are following the path of the prophets.”
The Dean of the College of Business and Economics also praised these cultural initiatives, stressing that the writings of the two Sadrine martyrs constitute an important Islamic heritage in jurisprudence, economics, philosophy, politics, sociology, law, and medicine, and that the circulation of these topics in the academic environment opens the horizons of development and change at the level of the individual and society.
