Impact of Strategic Leadership in Enhancing High Performance

An analytical survey of the opinions of a sample of senior leaders in the Popular Mobilization Authority

Abstract

     The current study aimed to test the role of strategic leadership through its dimensions (customer focus, operational efficiency, work development, organizational creativity) based on the scale (Dursema, 2013:58) in promoting high performance through its dimensions (management quality, continuous improvement, Long-term orientation, openness and effective orientation, employee quality) based on the scale (De wall, 2020: 91-92) among workers in the Popular Mobilization Authority, according to a sample of (260) members of the body’s senior leadership and using a (questionnaire form) that was designed and prepared For this purpose, and analyzing the data obtained and processing it statistically, as the current study relied on a number of statistical methods to reach the results related to it, the most important of which are (confirmatory factor analysis, rank correlation coefficient (spearman), structural equation modeling to measure direct impact relationships, standard deviation T-test, simple correlation coefficient and regression analysis) using the statistical program (SPSS V.15; Amose v.21).

     The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is (there is a significant correlation and effect between the variables of the study), in addition to the contribution of strategic leadership practices to developing, improving and enhancing high performance in the Popular Mobilization Authority.

     The study came out with a set of recommendations related to its current variables, most notably the organization in question should realize the role and importance of strategic leadership in drawing and defining its directions within the framework of its access to achieving its goals of survival and growth and facing challenges in the long term in order to achieve its high performance in front of its competitors.
