The research aims to identify the quality of work life and its impact on organizational excellence, realizing the importance of this topic as one of the important topics in the excellence and distinction of organizations. As the research stems from a problem that service organizations, including health, suffer from, and by virtue of the researcher’s work in it, there is a weakness in the components of the functional work environment for working individuals, which affects the efficiency of their performance and thus will affect the organization’s superiority and distinction. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical method to reach the results, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to analyze the answers of the sample, which amounted to (102) respondents out of the total research community, which numbered (250) individuals working in the Karbala Health Department, with the help of the statistical program (SPSS-V23). The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: There is a discrepancy in the level of application of work life quality programs in the organization in question between strengths and weaknesses, and there is a weakness in the administration’s attention to material motivating factors. The most important findings of the research: the need to pay more attention to the application of the quality of work life and to harness it optimally, as it is one of the tools for achieving organizational excellence, and the need to develop advance plans that link rewards to the efficiency of the performance of eligible workers.
