Abstract

Abstract The transformation from the public sector to the private sector or the so-called privatization is one of the most important tools of economic reform adopted in developing and developed countries alike, and its methods and forms which had been differed, and with these methods, there had been a large number of criticisms of privatization itself, On the other hand, methods through the financial markets are one of the ways of transforming the less monopolistic property as it contributes to the expansion of popular property .To knowing the role of financial markets in privatization and to clarify the type of relationship between financial markets and privatization, the (ARDL) and the Gronger test were used to test the relationship between financial markets and privatization in Egypt for the duration(2015-2000). The results of the research indicated that there is a reason for the joint integration of indicators of financial markets and privatization in one direction. also There is a causal relationship between the indices of financial markets and privatization in Egypt, where the trend of the stock market to the private sector due to the development of financial markets in Egypt, it considers one of the most developed country in the Arab homeland
