Abstract

The current study aimed to test the role that digital leadership plays in individual work performance within the framework of the Interactional role of knowledge sharing behavior at the level of some universities and private colleges in the Middle Euphrates region (The Islamic University, University Of AlKafeel, Imam Ja’afar Al-Sadiq University, Al-Mustaqbal University College, Hillah University College, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Ahl Al Bait University), Based on the main problem represented by the behavioral changes that occur during the Corona pandemic and which affect the performance of individual work within the organization, which were formulated in the form of questions that included in their content the relationships of correlation, influence, and the interactive role in the variables in the field, and in order to support the relationship between these variables from a theoretical perspective, the study relied on Measuring the digital leadership variable on a scale that includes five dimensions (visionary leadership, Digital-age learning culture, Excellence in professional practice, systemic improvement, and digital citizenship). As for the knowledge sharing behavior variable, a scale that includes four dimensions was adopted (Written contributions, organizational communications, personal interactions, and communities of practice), while the study adopted to measure individual work performance a scale that includes four dimensions (Task Performance, Contextual Performance, Adaptive Performance, and Counterproductive Work Behavior), and the descriptive analytical approach was adopted in presenting and interpreting the information. For the purpose of analyzing and processing the data statistically, confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach’s alpha in order to prove validity of the adopted measures. A group of descriptive statistical methods, the Pearson correlation coefficient, structural equation modeling, and modified analysis were also used. These methods were used by the program. Statistician (Spss.25, Amos.25). The study reached a set of conclusions, the most prominent of which was the existence of a correlation and the impact of digital leadership on individual work performance, and the increase in knowledge sharing behavior as an interactive variable in enhancing the impact of digital leadership on individual work performance.
