ِAbstract

The research aims to know and measure the effect of the dimensions of the variable of administrative and financial corruption (bribery, mediation, favoritism , exploitation of the public position) in making strategic decisions (diagnosing the problem, identifying and evaluating alternatives, choosing the appropriate strategic alternative) as well as measuring the correlation between the search variables And his tests, and applying that to the research sample, which are the decision-makers in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, as it included (197) individuals from general managers and their assistants and department managers in the ministry, while the main tool for research was (questionnaire), and personal interviews, and has been Will work in the research goals of descriptive and analytical approach, data analysis has been obtained using a number of statistical tools to reach results that demonstrate the relevance and effect of the independent variable, the dependent variable . Such as (Boxplot Frequency Distribution), (Kurtosis Skewness & Natural Distribution Test), Confirmative Structural Validity Analysis and Correlation Coefficient (Pearson) to measure the type and of relationship degree between research variables and structural stability analysis for measurement performance (Fakronbach), arithmetic mean, standard deviation analysis, intensity of response and simple effect test And the multiple (modeling the structural equation SEM), to identify the differences in the sample responses about the research variables, and the researcher came out with the most important conclusion that the ministry’s work is characterized by adopting the difference in the strategic decision-making process that clearly depends on studying a set of alternatives and working on a brother Stream of the best alternative from the available alternatives, and that this choice is based on the use of scientific methods to achieve that choice. The research concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the implementation of the strategy to combat administrative and financial corruption that begins with senior management decision-makers and thus leads the ministry to take appropriate strategic decisions and thus contributes to enhancing the quality of the strategic decision
