This study aims to identify the role of the moral leadership dimensions in rationalizing the banking decisions of a group of private banks in the holy Karbala governorate Being one of the important service organizations that have a major role in serving society in general and Karbalai in particular, and governmental institutions operating in the governorate, The adoption of such a topic as ethical leadership and its role in rationalizing banking decisions can contribute to solving many problems in this important and vital sector and thus benefit all society and achieve what you aspire to.

As the study problem focused on raising the following question, “Are there an impact of the dimensions of ethical leadership on rationalizing banking decisions?”

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, two main hypotheses were formulated. The first hypothesis focused on finding the extent of correlation between the study variables: Ethical leadership in its dimensions (integrity, fairness, ethical orientation, division of powers, and honesty) and the rationalization of banking decisions in their dimensions (competence, safety and security, and acceptance), While the second hypothesis is embodied by the diagnosis of the influence of the dimensions of moral leadership in rationalizing banking decisions, and the sample of the study reached (47) individuals of managers who work in senior and middle administrative positions in the banks of the study community, The questionnaire was used as a tool for obtaining the study data, which was adopted based on ready-made measures, and the data analysis was based on the statistical program (spss v.25).

The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which was that the dimensions of moral leadership have a great impact on rationalizing the banking decisions of the group of private banks operating in the holy Karbala governorate.

While the study concluded with a set of recommendations that could benefit the rest of the banking sector, the most important of which were: Giving a greater role to the dimensions of ethical leadership as a method and adopting it as an established method to enhance and rationalize banking decisions by giving appropriate means to achieve this.
