The research aims to use the descriptive method in this thesis to give a basic idea of evaluating the performance of Iraqi public companies by applying the balanced mark card technology as it is one of the contemporary techniques of management accounting that has been proven superior in this regard in that its application is not limited to the financial aspect only, but extends to include non-financial aspects. Also, in an attempt to fill the gaps experienced by Iraqi public companies in the field of performance evaluation, especially as the developments in the business environment, most notably the intense competition facing economic units, technological progress, shortening of the product life cycle, and others; It may be necessary for these units, if they wanted to survive and continue under the conditions of this environment, to apply modern technologies in the field of management accounting, the most important of which is the balanced score card. In addition, it has to pay attention to the aspects that enhance its success, the most important of which are related to its management of the green supply chain that aims to achieve high quality, the flow of resources, timely delivery, taking into account the environmental aspects of the product and others.
