Intangibles and its role in achieving excellent performance by using a balance scorecard

This study seeks to identify and address Intangibles (independent variable), which included all of the (knowledge ,relationships,innovation ,patent) and its role in achieving excellent performance using balanced scorecard dimensions of (financial perspective,customer perspective, internal processes perspective ,learning and growth perspective). And the problem of the study was launched from the reality of the University of Karbala on the extent interest Intangibles and role in achieving excellent performance.

Given the importance of universities as institutions of intellectual and cultural main concerned building the human and providing education and knowledge and refine his character, and develop his talents, and increase its potential creative and intellectual has conducted the study in the colleges of the University of Karbala’s (16) College, as was access to the information necessary for the field through form questionnaire prepared for this purpose, as the number of respondents (100) people from deans, associate deans and department heads.

The study sought to achieve a set of objectives of the most important : –

1 – See how interesting colleges survid the concept Intangibles and provide employment to achieve excellent performance and extent differing of those colleges level of interest.

2 – Provide a set of recommendations for the college of the University of Karbala and similar organizations all over contribution Intangibles to achieve excellent performance .In order to achieve these goals ,the study adopted a Study Supposal Diagram reflects the logical relationships between the variables of the study, in order to reveal the nature of these relationships have been put forward several hypotheses as Answers preliminary study seeks to verify the correctness of the following : –

1 – Asignificant correlation relation of statistical significance between Intangibles dimensions and excellent performance dimensions.

2 – Asignificant effect relationship of statistical significance Intangible  dimensions in achieving excellent performance dimensions.

The study found several conclusions the most important: –

1 – There is a great interest by the colleges of the University of Karbala study variables main and branch.

2 – The presence correlation relation and moral impact of statistical significance between the variables of the study.

The study included several recommendations of which : –

1 – Necessity for management colleges surveyed to develop a strategy suitable for management and consolidate the concepts Intangibles dimensions (knowledge , relationships , Innovation , patent) excellent and performance dimensions (financial perspective,customer perspective, internal processes perspective,Learning and growth perspective) and highlight their importance through development programs and seminars and conferences .

2 – To manage colleges surveyed to develop plans and policies to develop teaching owners for their skills and knowledges and the human relationships and continuously.
