Abstract
This study aims to test the effect of the relationship between strategic thinking as an independent variable on service quality as a dependent variable in the holy shrines through the strategic alignment as an interactive variable. To achieve this, the dimensions of strategic thinking represented by (reflection, organizational awareness, trend analysis, model distinction) were adopted based on (SanjayDhir, et al: 2018), the service quality dimensions represented by (tangibility, reliability, response, guarantee, and courtesy) were adopted Based on (Cronin & Taylor, 1992: 58), while strategic alignment is based on a study (Ates & Groenen, 2018).
To identify the level of strategic alignment in the place of the study, the work was based to reach its results on three main samples (the exploratory sample numbered (3125) respondents from (34) countries in the world and had a role in reaching the new measure of service quality in the holy shrines), while for the samples of the study variables. The first sample is a sample (service providers) represented by the heads of departments in the place of the study as field leaders, they number (50) individuals and they are a variable sample (strategic thinking and strategic alignment). The number of the responding sample is (320) from seventeen countries in the world.
A set of appropriate statistical treatment methods have been used in data analysis (hierarchical linear modeling(HLM)), confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis, as well as statistical description tools (mean and standard deviation), The first topic of the practical side includes the study measures: the validity and consistency test, while the second topic deals with (describing and diagnosing the study variables), while the third topic deals with (testing the study hypotheses) that were reached in the current study in light of the results of the data analysis process according to statistical methods
One of the most important conclusions reached by the study is the building of a new measure of service quality at the Hussaini Holy Shrine that is suitable for application in Islamic and other religious places, as well as there were no statistically significant differences between visitors in the three basic groups (service departments, engineering departments, and intellectual departments) towards the dimensions of service, this indicates that the results can deal with all three service classes equally.
