Abstract

The current study aims to shed light on the interactive role of proactive socialization as an important way to help new employees adapt and communicate quickly with the organization in order to play its organizational role and possess the knowledge and information necessary to perform this role, as positivity in the workplace is one of the necessary work requirements as it helps individuals To achieve their success in general and their harmony with the work environment and their readiness to make the appropriate organizational change in the General Authority for Tourism / Iraq, the researcher has relied on a number of sober research approaches, which are represented mainly by the applied approach to test the study’s relations and its variables, and also adopted the historical approach to consolidate and consolidate concepts, The study started from a problem that was expressed by a number of study questions, the aim of which was to answer them is to clarify the intellectual and theoretical implications of the study variables, which are represented by (Positivity in the workplace as an independent variable, proactive socialization as an interactive variable, workers’ readiness for organizational change as a dependent variable), which It is one of the modern topics in the environment Arabic in general and the Iraqi environment in particular, and the importance and level of the study and the possibility of its application in the General Authority for Tourism / Iraq were also diagnosed. Hypotheses A questionnaire was designed (depending on solid sources) as a main tool for collecting the necessary data, and it represents the study community of (278) employees of the General Authority for Tourism / Iraq. The results using a number of statistical tools available within the statistical programs (Spss.V.25, Amos V23, Excel) and tests of normal distribution, correlation coefficient (Alpha – Cronbach), structural equation modeling and the simple correlation coefficient “Pearson”.

One of the most important conclusions that have been reached is that positivity in the workplace contributed directly to providing a new concept of how the employees of the authority develop positive psychological resources that generally affect the work of the authority and the job performance of the employees that the work team should enjoy, through They have the ability to influence co-workers and their interactions towards completing the tasks they perform. Also, the proactive socialization methods for new workers have a clear impact on the changes that occur through different stages of work, in addition, the initial levels and directions of change were related to the outcomes of the proactive socialization. As for the employee readiness variable for organizational change, it leads to the joint determination of the members of the Tourism Authority in Iraq to follow the courses of action that will lead to the implementation of successful change through the common belief of the members of the organization in their joint abilities to organize and implement the required courses of action successfully.
