The Role of Innovative Work Behavior in Enhancing Strategic Vigilance

Abstract
The aim of the current research is to test the relationship between Innovative work behavior(Idea generation, idea promotion, idea implementation) and Strategic vigilance in its dimensions(Technology vigilance, competitive vigilance, marketing vigilance, environmental vigilance). The research problem was represented by a set of questions based on the researcher’s perceptions, the most important of which was, is there a relationship between Innovative work behavior and strategic vigilance in its dimensions?
In order to achieve the research objectives, a hypothetical scheme was designed that clarifies the nature of the relationship between the current research variables and its sub-dimensions according to ready-made foreign standards.
Hypotheses were built to identify the level and nature of the relationship between Innovative work behavior and strategic vigilance in Al-Etihad Food Industries Ltd. to achieve the research objectives. The questionnaire was adopted as a main tool for collecting data and information from a sample of (72) workers in the research community.
The researcher used the statistical package (SPSS V.25) to reach the results related to the research and to test the stability and reliability of the scale and (the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, response level, response intensity, relative importance) for the statistical description, and (simple correlation coefficient, and the equation for structural model, In the Smart PLS program to test direct hypotheses between research variables and its sub-dimensions.
The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which were (that the dimensions of the Innovative work behavior are related and have a moral influence on the strategic vigilance variable with its dimensions in the company and the research community) and based on these conclusions the researcher presented a set of recommendations The most important of which is the need to provide an appropriate environment that supports the creative behavior of workers in the work assigned to them by encouraging creativity, innovation and knowledge acquisition through the diversity of its sources and the possibility of applying it in their work.that were mostly what resulted from the applied conclusions of the research.
